📖 cPanel Cron Job Configuration Guide

Open cPanel Cron Manager: Log into your hosting account (e.g. Bluehost / cPanel), navigate to Advanced, and click Cron Jobs.
Configure Notification Email: At the top of the page, ensure the cron email address is either empty or configured correctly. Using >/dev/null 2>&1 at the end of each command will silence normal output so you only receive emails if a fatal script crash occurs.
Select the Schedule: Under Add New Cron Job, choose a preset from Common Settings or enter the 5 cron schedule values (Minute, Hour, Day, Month, Weekday). Note that hosting servers typically run in UTC time; calculate offsets from US Eastern time accordingly.
Enter the Full CLI Command: Use the absolute path to your hosting account's PHP CLI binary (e.g. /usr/local/bin/php or /usr/bin/php), followed by a space, the full server path to the script inside ktools4/, and append >/dev/null 2>&1.
Why CLI Mode (No curl): In KTools 4, scripts in bin/ and app/cli/ enforce PHP_SAPI === 'cli' and are web-denied by .htaccess. This prevents unauthorized web scraping or external execution without needing shared secret keys in query parameters.
