Architecture & Whitepapers
An overview of the current application structure and a guide to evaluating future technical reports.

Architecture overview
The Orbyt marketplace uses a PHP application with a MySQL-compatible relational database. Its application areas include account access, organization membership, product listings, orders, subscriptions, license entitlements, seller workflows and administrative operations.
Public and administrative features use permission-controlled routes. Supported data operations are exposed through versioned APIs. The browser interface uses those APIs for actions such as saving forms, managing orders and maintaining site content.
Data and transaction boundaries
The application uses prepared database queries and transactions where a workflow needs related updates to succeed together. Payment events are reconciled through provider integrations. The exact behavior of an integration should be evaluated against its configuration and test results.
Deployment considerations
A production plan should address HTTPS, server updates, database backups, private configuration, scheduled work, email delivery, provider webhooks, monitoring and recovery. A deployment diagram should identify dependencies and describe how credentials and private data are protected.
Technical reports and benchmarks
This page is an editable architecture overview, not a published independent whitepaper or benchmark study. No guaranteed response time, throughput, uptime or certification is asserted. Future reports should state the tested version, environment, workload, method and limitations, and distinguish measured results from targets.
